Christine’s Club re-opens…

It’s been more than eighteen months since Christine’s Club last met. Covid placed a temporary block on such activities but now the doors are open again to welcome anyone who might like to join a small social club intent on friendly conversation and good company.

Christine’s Club was launched in 2018 to provide an opportunity for Carer’s and their families to meet informally. Following the sad death of Christine Moulton in 2019, the new organisers decided to widen the invitation to anyone who might like to socialise in an open setting.  Lockdown demonstrated how easy it is to feel alone and isolated, particularly those living on their own. Months of restricted social interaction has left its mark and some continue to feel the lasting effect of Lockdown Languish. Christine’s offers the opportunity to meet people you don’t know in a welcoming environment. The Club is inclusive and opens its doors to anyone who might like to meet new friends, regardless of age or ability.

Although based in Trimley St. Martin, being a resident is not an exclusive qualification. Anyone can come along and share tea, cake and new friends. Everyone is welcome so come and join Lyn, Pearl and the rest of the gang, starting on 14th September 2021 at 2.00 p.m.

And just to remind you again:

Where? Trimley St. Martin Methodist Chapel

When? Every second Tuesday of the month from 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.
